Distributed Power in Sociocratic Organisations

Distributed Power (DP) is a systemic and practical model for self-organization, based on sociocracy and Teal.

  • In sociocracy, organisations can be considered to be projectified organisations consisting of circles and sub-circles where each circle is like a project in itself. The management and decision-making in the circles reflect both the autonomy of each circle and the common purpose of all the circles. • Teal organizations are based on three principles, in short, self-management without the need for a rigid hierarchy, wholeness that allows members to use all aspects of their personality, and finally an evolutionary purpose, which means that you need to understand the natural way an organization is drawn to grow. This seminar will guide us through how DP can be used to manage and organize projects.
